In contrast to the outdoor depictions in Plein Air paintings, artist N.ALEG redirects our gaze internally. Only with our eyes closed can we reach the destinations in question. The artist looks at his works as tools for traveling, giving the observer a fragmented glimpse into the three and a half-dimensional where absence constitutes part of the motif and fills its surface with void. Opening up without shattering the surface tension.
