December 8 2021
18.00 - 19.30

Our bodies carry all the information we need to have full access to our true intuitions. We store a lifetime of energy and memories throughout our anatomy, and rarely do we have the space or time to channel that energy into playful creative thinking.

This workshop has been designed to help detach ourselves from our inner critics and strengthen our awareness towards accessing our creative instincts. Guided through a movement based practice where we improvise and participate in personal and collective physical tasks we will explore finding what it means to get in tune with yourself and your environment. With the accompaniment of a dynamic musical playlist we will find joy in our groove, begin to break the walls of our own inhibitions, and achieve moments of connecting with being present. By physicalizing our way into presence we can operate more freely without the doubt that can often prevent us from making authentic decisions. Come share space with me as we get our bodies aligned with our internal impulses and clear up the mind to find pleasure in discovering some alternative ways of engaging with yourself and your environment.

Jesse Kovarsky is a dancer and movement artist from NYC, currently in Stockholm performing in the show Kuckel 2 by Alexander Ekman at Orionteatern.
