A house – Destinations for creative development

A house creates niche destinations for businesses and freelancers. We offer workspaces, living rooms and social spaces to inspire creative development and innovation. Coworking, membership activities, customized spaces, event venues and hand-picked restaurants help give each meeting place a unique character.

Innovation Space – our first prototyping lab

A house X Toolspace Innovation Space is a prototyping lab where ideas become reality. Here, 3D printers, tools, and materials meet with guidance and formats that take you from sketch to solution. Prototype with or without help, take one of our Crash Courses, or bring your team to an Innovation Happy Hour.

Sickla Central – new destination

With 25 floors and views across the city, A house Sickla Central offers workspaces for companies, investors, incubators, start-ups and solo entrepreneurs who want to help drive development towards a more sustainable world

Domus – new event venue!

Panoramic windows in three directions, hand-picked vintage decor and views of half the city. Just half a stone’s throw from Slussen metro.

Membership

Desk, office or a tailor-made solution? As a member, you also get several benefits and access to a creative network.

As a member of our community, you will have access to activities that make it easy to find new collaborations. Breakfast, yoga, lectures and AW are some examples. Choose between lobby membership, a fixed seat in the workclub, a desk or a private office room. If you have other wishes, we will customize an arrangement that suits you. Most things can be solved.

Event venues

Create your event in our iconic buildings – where the venue sets the scene but you decide the content.

Our destinations include a variety of event venues, each with its unique history and quirky interior design concepts. From fashion shows and concerts to conferences and birthday parties, they’ve all taken place here. We are curious about what will happen next.

Destinations

A house offers more than just coworking in four unique buildings in Stockholm: Östermalm, Gärdet, Slakthusområdet and Slussen, with more on the way. Each location is tailored to different creative niches, creating environments for collaboration and knowledge sharing. Members can share resources such as event spaces, lab kitchens, editing studios, meeting rooms and services.

Katarina House

Slussen, Stockholm

Stockholm’s new business district is emerging in Slussen. Katarinahuset, also known as KF-huset, has been enthroned here since 1912. The building now offers creative coworking, bars, restaurants and inspiring member activities, but the view is reason enough to work here.

Sickla Central

Sickla Nacka

Sickla is the Nordic hub for sustainability, innovation and well-being. With 25 floors and a view of the whole of Stockholm, A house Sickla Central is a unique destination for coworking, events and creative collaborations. The building is also one of the most sustainable in Sweden.

Ark

Östermalm, Stockholm

A brutalist living room in the old School of Architecture that houses creative coworking, event spaces and hand-picked restaurants. Named Sweden’s ugliest building – a feat in itself.

The Exchange House

Slakthusområdet, Stockholm

The Slakthus area has long been a popular destination during weekends and evenings. During the day, it has been even quieter. That’s why we’ve created a brand new meeting place with a focus on music, design, food and drink, accompanied by ceiling paintings and fleshy Art Nouveau.

Community

We offer inspiring environments for businesses in the creative industries to connect, collaborate and grow. It’s more than coworking: it’s curiosity, learning, business opportunities and a unique creative force that makes A house special.

Become part of a community in motion.

Our vision

A house was founded in 2016 with a focus on creative industries that benefit from collaboration and strong ecosystems. We have learned what these industries need and how to create creative workplaces. Creative development is the foundation of A house.

Our history

We lacked a gathering place for the creative industries where co-creation is at the center. That was the start of A house.
