A House Hagastaden opens June 2026

In June, we are opening our fifth venue for creative coworking and events: A House Hagastaden.

Hagastaden is one of Stockholm’s most ambitious urban development projects. A completely new city district is emerging here between Vasastan and Solna, where research, innovation, and urban life converge. Karolinska Institutet, world-leading life science companies, and a rapidly growing startup climate set the tone, but the area is also filled with restaurants, parks, and residences.

In the midst of this, we are creating a new destination for creative coworking with a focus on health, well-being, and sustainability. A meeting place where entrepreneurs, designers, researchers, technologists, and cultural practitioners can work side by side. A context for people who want to develop new ideas, build companies, and find unexpected collaborations—whether working with tech, design, media, food, culture, or the health solutions of the future.

The building comprises a total of approximately 27,700 square meters of rentable space. Of this, A house will occupy approximately 2,500 square meters, of which approximately 1,600 square meters constitute coworking space with around 40 offices. The premises are located one floor up in the building, directly above the conference facility on the ground floor.

At A House Hagastaden, functional work environments and inspiring social spaces meet. Here you will find flexible coworking spaces, offices, lounges, and meeting rooms where both focused work and spontaneous conversations take place. As a member, you become part of a vibrant community and can participate in weekly member activities – everything from lectures, running clubs, and meditation to wine tastings, networking lunches, and music quizzes. You also get access to A House’s other destinations around the city.

More than just coworking
A House Hagastaden is much more than just a workplace. The recipe is personality, new business opportunities, inspiration, learning, culture, food, and drink. Constant development, contrasts, and unexpected experiences – but also ingredients that we cannot quite put into words, but which, according to our members, are what makes A House unique.

Membership

As a member of our community, you gain access to various member activities that make it easy to find new collaborations and contacts. Choose between a lobby membership, a fixed desk in our Workclub, or a private office room. If you have other requests, we will tailor an arrangement that suits you. Most things can be arranged.

Event venues

All of our event venues feature a thoughtful interior design where various types of contexts are given space to flourish. We have hosted everything from fashion shows and concerts to art openings, birthday parties, and conferences—and the ideas continue to evolve. A House Hagastaden offers 9 event venues with a capacity for up to 260 people. In these spaces, we will incorporate plants, natural materials, and warmer colors to soften the environment and create something more organic and human. The objective is to create inspiring and more inviting rooms where the presence of nature contributes to enhanced well-being and a more stimulating atmosphere for meetings and events.

Biophilia and Raw Naturalism

We call the interior Raw Naturalism, and it is based on biophilia and neurodesign, which concerns how nature and people function in harmony. Plants, natural materials, and warm color palettes are given space and create a soft contrast to Hagastaden’s harder urban environment and the building’s more austere architecture. The large atriums in the building provide excellent conditions for greenery, which we utilize through planting beds and vegetation in collaboration with Greenworks.

As always with us, much of the interior is vintage and repurposed. Furniture and objects are hand-selected secondhand and are given new life in a new environment. The result is a personal and warm place—less office, more a home where people can work, meet, and feel comfortable.

Greenhouses for entrepreneurs

One of A House’s most important missions is to create opportunities for meetings and collaborations. We achieve this through simple tools such as deliberately having a single shared coffee machine, offering various member activities, and creating communal spaces. Businesses and freelancers are thus given the opportunity to develop and grow through new partnerships, which strengthens and promotes our community.

The goal of A House Sickla Central is to create a greenhouse for entrepreneurs, startups, and scaleups.

Our first destination, A House Ark, has over the years supported several successful startups on their journey.
