Tapster offers flexible and simple payments through contactless wearables. Their best-selling product, the Tapster Ring, looks like a regular ring but contains an NFC chip that allows you to pay by tapping it against the terminal. Their products require no charging, batteries, or internet!
Hi! What problem do you solve best?
– We make sure you don’t have to bring or pick up your phone or card because the wallet is already on your hand and always ready. That means:
- You don’t have to worry about your phone having a low battery. No stress if the phone dies.
- No wallets to keep track of. We believe that the plastic card will disappear in the near future, as many pay digitally BUT that requires you to have charged or have batteries to be able to pay.
- We solve that by ensuring our users never have to think about batteries or charging to make a payment.
We make payments something that just works, whether you’re on the beach, out for a run, hands full, skiing, or traveling.
Who is your typical customer?
– Our typical customer is someone who wants to live simply and freely – without wallets, cards, or charging cables. They are often active people on the go, who travel a lot, exercise, or simply like smart technology that saves time and makes everyday life easier.
When does the “wow feeling” arise?
– As soon as you say payment ring without batteries or charging, many say wow, but it becomes an extra big wow and a big smile when you try our products yourself and pay with it!
If you could build a dream feature without limitations – what would it be?
– To be able to make it easier for all customers to get a better overview of their transactions, with recommendations on what they can do to get better control over their finances.
