“My industry is built on human connection.”
Among agencies and studios in Börssalen sits Jenny Samnelius, making insurance understandable. We spoke with the member behind Tydliga Partners about finding colleagues without working together and why human connection matters more as AI takes over increasingly more.
Hi Jenny! What’s one word that describes your industry right now?
– Highly relevant, because everyone needs us. My industry is built on relationships and human connection. It feels both exciting and thrilling in a world where AI is taking over more and more.
Explain what Tydliga Partners does?
– We help companies and their employees with pensions and insurance. It’s about investing money, but also about understanding and covering the need for protection during different life events, such as marriage, separation, illness, accident, or death. We also help companies with their own insurance. My customer promise is simple: I’ve got it covered, so you don’t have to worry.
What are people’s biggest misconceptions about the insurance industry, and what’s the most enjoyable part of it?
– That it’s complicated and expensive, and that there are hidden fees when you hire a broker. With us, it’s exactly the opposite. I make it simple and understandable, and it usually becomes cheaper than going directly to a bank or an insurance company. That means more money in the company’s and the employees’ own pockets.
What do you see happening with insurance and investment in the coming years?
– I see a risk in people thinking they can solve their savings and insurance themselves, with the help of AI. But if you don’t know what questions to ask or what needs you actually have, the solution won’t be tailored to you. Then you might be over-insured and paying too much unnecessarily. Even worse is if something happens and you don’t have the right insurance, because then you won’t get the compensation you would have needed.
How did you find your way to A House Slaktis, and what does it mean to you?
– I rented a space through Atrium Ljungberg on the floor above, and then I found my way here. For me, A House is a meeting place and a community. Here I meet wonderful people and gain colleagues, even though we don’t work together!
What has surprised you most about being in a house full of creative agencies and studios?
– That there are so many different things you can work with. It’s really fun to hear about everything that’s going on in the house.
Have you learned anything from your neighbors that you bring into your own work?
– Absolutely. The insight into so many different businesses gives me a broader understanding of what different companies’ daily lives look like. It allows me to tailor my advice better.
Have you collaborated with any other A House member?
– Yes, with Tina at Artifiq Agency.
One thing you always have in your bag?
– Dog treats.
