About the role
The role is a temporary position with the possibility of extension.
As a Community Coordinator at A House Slussen, your primary responsibility is to ensure satisfied and engaged members who appreciate and participate in A House’s programme of activities. You do this by planning, coordinating and delivering both recurring and more “one-off” activities for our members. You also take part in the activities yourself and contribute new ideas, preferably based on our members’ wishes.
Your attitude is positive, down-to-earth and solution-oriented, even when situations are stressful. You support the Community Manager and Community Hosts with daily operations, for example member move-ins and move-outs.
The role is mobile, and you are usually on the move or seated in our lobby working together with the team.

Main tasks and areas of responsibility
As a Community Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, purchasing, prep and delivery of A House’s programme of activities. Some of the activities include breakfast, networking, AWs, exhibition openings, talks, wine tastings, and Christmas and summer parties. This also includes ensuring that our Run Club is up and running and that we offer our members activities that encourage good health, for example weekly training sessions at Fightbox, meditation, yoga and more.
Larger activations are delivered with support from the Community Manager, the Communications Specialist and the rest of the team.
The A House Community Coordinator works closely with both the Community Manager and our Communications Specialist by maintaining an ongoing dialogue on activities and priorities, ensuring that the right information reaches our members in good time and at the right time.
You also work closely with our Community Hosts, primarily by supporting them and stepping in at the Front Desk when needed.
Basic preparation of food for sale or serving may be included, as well as certain administrative tasks, such as following up on orders, invoice handling or similar.
Subject to time, other smaller/larger tasks within the overall scope of the role may be added.
Competency requirements and personal qualities
– Experience from a service role is required. For example, café, restaurant or conference experience is highly meritorious
– A proactive doer who gets things done and has an interest in people
– You always greet the customer with a smile, and you are someone who would rather say yes than no
– You are a natural team player with service in your blood
– Works proactively, takes initiative and is driven, enjoys finding new solutions
– Flexible, inventive and thrives in a dynamic environment
– Always ready to help a member, customer or colleague to the best of your ability
Working conditions
Scheduled work with some irregular hours. Mainly Monday–Friday between 8-17. The role includes at least one early morning (07:00) per week to prepare and deliver breakfast. The occasional late afternoon to deliver a member activity may occur. However, usually not after 20.00.
