Event Sales Manager

Reports to: Head of Sales

The purpose and objective of the Event Sales Manager is to book large and small events – everything from parties, photo shoots, conferences to sales. To ensure that A house destinations are filled with events and have good profitability. Also, ensure that you nurture customer relationships, where customers feel a strong trust in A house.

1. Main tasks

  • POC (Point of Contact) på minst två A house destinationer. 
    Vilket innebär:
    • Responsible for event budget per destination
    • Ensure that A house has profitable events
    • Attend and drive the strategic destination meetings linked to events
    • Responsible for ensuring that the price list for their destinations is up to date
  • Attend and drive customer events linked to events
  • Proactively look for new prospects for A house
  • Contract management
  • Quotation writing & confirm deals in the CRM tool Lime
  • Give tours at A house
  • Responsible for Pipe meetings for their POC destination
  • Weekly reporting to the Head of Sales, House Director at their POC destination and the management at A house.
  • Close dialogue with event coordinators at A house destinations

2. Competency requirements

  • Background in sales
  • Extra meritorious with experience in hotel/restaurant or event
  • Knowledge of CRM systems & managing a sales process
  • Knowledge of Office packages
  • Works fluently in both Swedish and English
  • Driver’s license

3. Education and training

  • Has a relevant university degree or vocational education in event sales and professional experience in the field.
  • Has at least 5 years of industry experience and experience in running their own projects and work experience.

  • Requires good cooperation within the company, with customers & in external events and the company’s other stakeholders

6. Working conditions

Freedom under responsibility. The work may require flexibility in terms of time and sometimes uneven working hours.
