Code, creativity and community – The Gang develops games for the world, now from their HQ at A house Börshuset. Meet the team building worlds in Roblox.

For those who don’t know – what does The Gang do?
– We are a game development company. We mainly make Roblox games for both mobile and PC, but also games for Steam and consoles. We develop our own Roblox games and also work on commissions for clients all over the world!

You make games for some of the world’s biggest brands. What does a typical day at the office out?
– Wow, it looks different day to day! But the schedule always includes: lots of coffee, a stretch break in the afternoon (a given since we all spend so much time in front of the computer!) and of course lots of meetings, both external and with each other.

What is the funniest game you have worked on so far?
– It’s hard to choose just one! Each game brings so many different things. When we work with clients, it’s especially fun to see their visions come to life, to see the details of a great franchise transformed from movie to game screen. When we make our own games, we get to explore our creativity and sometimes come up with some crazy fun stuff! The common factor is that it’s always fun to release a game and to see our players’ reactions when they discover something new.

What makes a great gaming experience?
– That it brings joy! Whether it’s through a brand new unique game and doing something for a well-known franchise and seeing people recognize their favorite characters. We make games because we enjoy playing them ourselves, and we want to see that joy in the people who play our games.

You are a newcomer to Börshuset – welcome! How did you get here?
– We were previously based in the city and wanted to move further south. At the same time, we wanted to find a relaxed and creative community that fit our vibe. It was love at first sight with A house!

Do you have a favorite place in the house (besides your own HQ of course)?
– When the sun is out, it’s nice to have coffee on the stairs! Otherwise, we like Börssalen best where we can all stop and socialize.

What game are you playing this summer – let us know!
– Digital: If we may be so bold as to recommend our own new Out of Sight, released in May. It’s something we’re all playing right now! Analog: That would be Wyrmspan, Carcassonne and maybe Codenames!

Best place in town for AW right now?
– Wikströms City if you want to visit our colleague Aaron when he hosts a quiz. Otherwise, we like to hang out in some lovely park in Söder!

What’s the talk of the town this summer?
– How to play it all on vacation and what the best ice cream place is!
