”I’d love to see a return of old-school sophistication”
An interview with member Marie Chardin.
Meet member Marie Chardin from Hamburg – one half of duo Studio Chardin Simon, that recently moved in to A house Börshuset. With a decade of hands-on experience in the fashion realm, they got a keen eye for visual storytelling and creative content. They provide tailored content and campaign strategies for the fashion and lifestyle industries, from concept to execution.
– Hi there Marie! How did you end up at A house?
I was seeking a more inspiring environment than working from home, and Börshuset provides exactly that. It’s a space that nurtures creativity while also connecting me with other like-minded, creative professionals.
– Where in Slaktis do you go for lunch?
When lunchtime rolls around, you’ll find me savoring bagels and coffee at Stockholm Roast, progressively getting through the New York Times while sharing laughs with the staff.
– Where do you find inspiration?
My favorite spot for inspiration is on a plane. There’s something about watching the clouds and changing landscapes below that helps me dream and clears my mind.
– What do you hope will be a fashion trend in 2025?
I don’t necessarily hope for specific trends, as I believe people should wear what makes them feel most comfortable and stylish. However, I’d love to see a return of evening glamour—like outfit changes before dinner, adding a nice perfume, or a touch of lipstick, bringing back a bit of old-school sophistication.
– Do you have any fun projects in the pipeline?
Absolutely! While we can’t reveal too much at the moment, I can share that our next exciting project is with a Swedish brand. Besides that we have some fun editorial projects going on.
