Due to the ongoing current situation, our beloved Community Breakfast is airplane-style! Breakfast bags are up for grabs for members in A kitchen on Thursday mornings from 08.30. They contain yogurt with granola, juice, and of course coffee from Sthlm Roast and some surprises once in a while! All for free, we hope you like it!
Coffee tasting with Stockholm Roast
If you fancy the lobby coffee, you should spend the morning with Stockholm Roast founder Johan Montan Ahlgren, who has been challenging the coffee industry since 2012. The tasting will include 3 different origins for you to experience and Johan will be talking roasting, brewing and more. No sign-up, welcome!

Mindfulness with Caroline
Mindfulness is an important tradition in the A house community. It can reduce stress & anxiety, enhance creativity and improve your focus.
Wednesdays at 3 pm I guide you through a relaxing, simple meditation with our eyes closed (in Swedish). Anyone can join, all you need is 15 minutes. The session is for free of course.
The mindfulness is for the moment held digitally. Google meets link will be posted on slack just before : ) Stay tuned! Minimum 3 participants.
A wine taste
Welcome to try wine with Franco every Thursday afternoon! A house event creator and sommelier Franco Dusant is opening some of his dearest bottles for you to taste every Thursday in A lobby. The temporary “wine bar” includes 2 bottles exclusive with 1 bottle of red and 1 bottle of white (for free of course). Welcome!

Kommer A house att stänga?
A house följer Folkhälsomyndighetens rekommendationer och kommer givetvis stänga vår verksamhet om myndigheterna uppmanar oss att så bör ske. Varje enskilt företag får själva ta beslut kring om de vill stänga sitt kontor eller inte. Vi finns här för våra medlemmar på det sätt de önskar fysiskt eller digitalt.
Vad gör A house för att minska smittspridningen?
Vi uppmanar till stor försiktighet, självklart ska alla som känner minsta symtom hålla sig hemma. Vi uppmanar medlemmar och anställda att hålla avstånd och tvätta händerna samt tillhandahåller rikligt med handsprit.
Hur upprätthåller ni hygienen?
Vi rengör extra noga och flera gånger om dagen handtag och alla andra ytor som vidrörs kontinuerligt. I front desk har vi satt upp visir för att skydda personal och besökare. Vi tvättar händerna enligt riktlinjer och använder handsprit.
Vem får komma till A house?
Vi i personalen är endast på A house om vi är 100 % friska och smittfria, alla medlemmar som också är det är välkomna.
Har vi kundmöten som vanligt?
Alla måste fatta beslut utifrån perspektivet risk för smittspridning och väga det mot vikten att genomföra mötet. Det bästa vi kan göra för oss och samhället är att minimera risken att sprida viruset vidare och därför gärna undvika samlingar, speciellt inomhus. Vi på A house kan dock inte förbjuda bara råda. Vi genomför gärna möten digitalt via tjänster såsom Google Hangout, Skype, Zoom, Teams och Slack.
Hur påverkas A house av pandemin?
Som eventarrangör drabbas vi hårt, med avbokningar och där många av våra planerade events blir senarelagda. Vi arbetar aktivt med att digitalisera vårt community, modifiera vårt program och hur vi kan stötta våra medlemmar primärt och kreativa industrier i stort.
Kommer vi fortsätta med tisdagslunchen och torsdagsfrukosten?
Vi har förstärkt våra rutiner kring städning och hygien vid tisdagslunchen och fortsätter att ställa in frukostbuffen. Istället för torsdagens buffet erbjuder vi våra medlemmar gratis frukostpåsar varje torsdag. Under perioden av striktare restriktioner från Folkhälsomyndigheten är Tisdagslunchen dessvärre helt inställd tillsvidare.

Vi förstår att frågorna kring coronaviruset är många och vi tar oron största på allvar. Eftersom vi inte är experter inom detta område så följer vi och agerar utifrån officiella källor och beslut som tas kring frågan. Enligt Smittskyddslagen ska var och en genom ”uppmärksamhet och rimliga försiktighetsåtgärder” medverka till att förhindra spridning av smittsamma sjukdomar.
Nu öppnar OMAKA
Nu är det äntligen dags för invigningen av hela OMAKA, den 2 september slår OMAKA upp dörrarna för allmänheten. Det blir en blandning av konst och design, restaurang, bar, bryggeri, uteservering och ölträdgård.
Innan den allmänna öppningen vill vi passa på att bjuda in dig som arbetar i huset på AW med förmånliga priser i baren. Njut av öl från bryggmästare Hedda Spendrup tillsammans med tilltugg från köksmästaren Christian Siberg.
Med tanke på den rådande situationen är gästantalet begränsat. För att så många som möjligt ska kunna komma har vi därför delat upp AWn i två grupper. Vänligen respektera tiderna.

One Thursday every month, A wine taste is transformed into a Maker’s Thursday event. A house event creator and sommelier Franco Dusant is inviting extraordinary makers for you to experience products in the making in A lobby. Welcome to join (no sign up needed, just a calendar reminder).
“Vi är Dryckeriet. Vi gör allt lite jobbigare och svårare men samtidigt väldigt mycket enklare.

Vi tror inte att man behöver tillsätta sk ”naturliga aromer” eller andra saker för att det ska smaka gott. För oss är naturliga aromer riktiga ingredienser, vill vi att det ska smaka rabarber så använder vi rabarber. Enkelt. Men lite svårare. Vi brygger allt förhand själva. Han som gör det heter Olli. Vi hoppas på att vi i framtiden kommer att kunna göra roliga och goda saker tillsammans med likasinnade och förverkliga alla de idéer vi har kring dryck. Vi vurmar för det genuina och äkta och vill skapa något roligare och bättre än det som finns. Se oss hellre som ett mikrobryggeri än en läskproducent.”
Changed program due to Covid-19
Dear A house members! Due to the current situation, we are modifying the weekly activities. We are following the development and will make our choices based on the recommendations of the authorities. A house will be open for you as usual as long as the authorities do not tell us otherwise.
Our Upcoming Program is modified to suit the current situation. This means that some of our activities are possible to join digitally from where ever you are. Mindfulness is perfect to join from home, tune in on at 3 pm on Wednesdays for 15 minutes of mind relaxation. Our new initiative, AMA, can be followed from anywhere you can connect to slack. Thursday Breakfast buffet is currently replaced with free breakfast bags “Airplane-style”. We hope that you like it and are open to any ideas on how to make current situation life even more WOW!
A house members, please be careful not to contaminate each other, but please also remain calm and keep on going if you can. Thank you all for contributing to our community and for being such inspiring members! We trust you to wash hands and we trust your judgment when it comes to staying at home or not. Manaf and Afaaf are a young entrepreneurial couple from Syria. They have a passion for food and hospitality and they believe that food is the easiest way to connect new cultures together.

Elle’s Kusina is the dream of its founder Elle, originally from Manila, Philippines. Having worked for over 10 years in the hotel and service industries, she was keen to continue her career in one of the many impressive hotels in downtown Stockholm. However, after moving to Sweden with her husband, she felt that she needed a direction change in life. She took some time out to focus on what that next step could be. Elle re-discovered her passion for cooking, then started creating lunchboxes for her husband to take to work. It did not take long for the alluring smells and explosive flavors to get noticed by others. A few taste sessions later and Elle was providing lunches for a number of her husband’s colleagues, weeks later, double the amount. Her Filipino food was a hit!
One fateful day while missing home, she had the idea to bring ‘home’ to Stockholm. By combining her favorite Philippine comfort food with a more homely approach to catering and the eating experience, she found a formula to bringing the same welcoming and family oriented hospitality you find in the Philippines. Elle’s Kusina was born.

Future food lunch with PINC + A20
A House and PINC present the Future Food concept – a collaboration around the food of the future!
The first company out is A20. They will introduce their delicious tempeh – a product made from Swedish yellow peas from Öland that have been fermented. The Tempeh has a dry and firm but chewy texture and a slightly nutty taste. It can be steamed, sautéed or baked and is often marinated to add more flavor. A20 will show one of the many ways to prepare their Tempeh so make sure to swing by and get the recipe to impress all your friends and family.

Wine tasting with MASI
MASI is world renowned for their different Amarone-wines and the consistent high quality. We have the pleasure to welcome export manager Max directly from Verona – the historical town of Romeo & Juliet.
Max will join us this Thursday for an informative and relaxing AW tasting (held in English) of 6 wines.
We start with an exclusive Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore as an apéritivo and then Max will guide us through 5 more wines, and the grand final will be two Amarone wines.

A yard yoga with Dora
Dora is an entrepreneur/member at A house and a yoga teacher certified in Colombia in a style called Asthanga Vinyasa!
She loves to practice and share her practice with both newbies and advanced yogis, and she loves connecting the practice to the everyday experiences and challenges we face in life, work, business and relationships! When the weather permits, Dora love doing yoga outdoors so therefore we meet at A yard this Monday for an energizing evening practice!
The yoga session is for free and no sign-up needed.

Wine glass tasting with Vinlagraren
Vinlagraren is a company run by A house member Axel Runéus, committed to spreading knowledge about quality wines. The main business of Vinlagraren is a weekly newsletter with wine tips and what to cook to your wine.
Axel also hosts several wine tastings around the country. His favourite is the Riedel glass tasting where you try different wines in different kinds of glasses.
This Wednesday in A kitchen, Axel will guide us through an experience that shows the importance of enjoying wine in the right kind of glass. The tasting is 150 SEK.

Lunch menu 18/6 – Noodle soup
The soup will be a slightly spicy miso broth with handmade wheat noodles and Swedish pork shoulder, egg, scallions and dried seaweed on top.
The vegetarian version will be with everything except for pork and instead, we put in portabello mushrooms.
Allergies: Noodles are glutenous, stock contains soybean, wheat, egg, chili.
Batjargal Ochirbat opened his own restaurant Soyokaze in October 2016. They got nominated and won Dagens Nyheter’s Gulddraken in category Lyxkrog Feb 2018. Later in October 2018, they opened their second place, Soyokafe. It is family-friendly, affordable everyday sushi and they also serve Japanese bakeries. This year both of their restaurants got nominated in Dagens Nyheter. Soyokafe in Budget and Soyokaze in Lyxkrog once again. Batjargal Ochirbat is the owner and the chef of these places and he runs the restaurants with his family.

About A house member Spoons
SPOONS was founded 2011 by Henric Gervais with the vision of being able to offer tasty and nutritious ready meals. Our soups, stews and super pots are hand made and cooked on fresh ingredients without additives, just like in your own kitchen. Many of our soups and stews contain some type of legume. Legume is protein- and fiber rich, provides long saturation and is a climate-savory protein source. Our dishes meet the increased demand for more vegan and vegetarian options, they are also gluten and lactose free! All our dishes are locally produced in our kitchen in Malmö. We love to eat our soup and stew in a bowl with a spoon.

Walaa is from Palestine, holding a bachelor Degree in business administration with a major in accounting from Bethlehem university in Palestine. She has 5 years of experience working back in her country, her stand out experience was working in her own company for catering services which was something she really loved doing.
Walaa moved to Sweden three and a half years ago and she needed to wait 3 months until she can get the chance to go to the Swedish-language school. It was a hard challenging for an active person like her to stay home without anything to do. So, as a hobby, she started creating new recipes mixing between the European style and the Palestinian’s flavors. Then she started her own youtube channel Sweet O Salti for recipes in arabic. Now she has her own catering company. She organizes home parties and events. Also, she is a home-chef with Gastronaut focusing on bringing middle eastern flavors (specially Palestinians finger foods) to the tables of Swedish and non-Swedish people.
